Over the past 16 years, my store Sheherazade has allowed me to live my passions of

and design, working with artisans to create and source products that merge Eastern and Western

influences. This past year, I was faced with a decision: pay an increased rent to keep

Sheherazade open or use the opportunity to take it to the next level. Intuitively, I knew the latter

was the right choice.

I spent the last three months traveling to Morocco, Spain, India and Turkey, which sparked my

passion and inspired the new focus for Sheherazade. I am in the process of debuting my very

own collection with the help of talented artisans, who are bringing my signature pieces to life, and

am excited to share them with interior designers, store buyers and the everyday shopper. My goal

with this collection is to help clients create a space that speaks to them and, like my travels, spark

new excitement.
